Family Support

Family Support is a monthly family-centered program where the parents, teens and children are able to come out to share their experiences and receive education on a current topic in sickle cell disease. A meal and childcare is provided.

The objective of this program is to provide a place where parents are able to voice their concerns and become empowered to face the challenges of raising a child with sickle cell disease. Many parents gain a sense of hope and encouragement through this sharing opportunity.

Parents, grandparents, relatives and friends are encouraged to participate.
